Picture computer networks as layered structures; AI adds a virtual software layer, powered by predictive algorithms from Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) using Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL).Â
We delve into the close relationship between AI algorithms and imitating human cognitive behavior in emerging technologies. AI in computer networks offers various benefits, such as automation, digitalization, Internet of Things (IoT) integration, and centralized data management. However, these advantages raise concerns about privacy violations and data security.Â
To address these concerns, AI in computer networks relies on security measures like Next-Generation Firewalls, with Software Network Analysis (SNA) and Software Defined Networks (SDN) playing vital roles in enhancing network security. The main goal of this dissertation is to explore how AI algorithms interact with human-like cognitive behavior in emerging technologies.Â
